Yewande Spencer
My name is Yewande Spencer. I am apart of the senior class at Kipp Nyc college prep, and a student in Wesleyan University’s DE college psychology class. My interest in the psychology field was created through a hobby of mines. This unusual hobby was watching true crime documentaries, shows and podcasts. The more true crime I would watch or listen to, the more intrested i would be in to the background psychological aspects. More specifically to the “why” behind one’s actions/beliefs and thoughts. I was fascinated by the idea that there could be so many factors that could impact or change a persons actions/persona and it was essentially a gateway in to my passion for psychology as an entirety. My focus has now switched to what I can accomplish, with an further education in to this passion of psychology. I want to use a further education in psychology to support the mental health of others with therapy.
