Flora White

My name is Flora White and I am a freshman at Wesleyan from Los Angeles, California. I am a passionate writer and performer who enjoys having a positive impact on the world. Psychology 105 is my first psychology class, although I was given the opportunity to do science passion projects in middle school, and focused my research on elements of psychology such as emotions, memory and accents. I have done various digital designs on Canva for charity and advocacy events, and am very skilled at slide presentations, as they were a required component for most of my school years. My schooling also included a lot of collaboration and creative ways to show learning, so I thrive in project-based environments. I also have experience with Excel, as I was required to use it for my administrative assistant job last year (although I would most likely need to review how to use this program). Finally, I am experienced with video editing software (iMovie and Clipchamp), as I made a short documentary about my class as my senior project, and have made various personal video projects throughout my life.
